At Tonies Licensing, we're on a mission to bring the magic of audio to children everywhere. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Working Student to support our portfolio of global licensing accounts and help drive international licensing projects from inception to final product launch. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a commercially-minded environment, working alongside a team that manages relationships with major international licensors within the toy and entertainment industry across North America and EMEA.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Licensing Management Support: You support the Licensing team in maintaining and coordinating relationships with international licensing partners.
- Support on International Projects: You assist with international licensing projects across various stages – from initial discussions through contract execution to product development and market launch.
- Commercial Support: You help prepare and maintain licensing P&Ls and support the creation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: You support communication between internal departments (e.g., product development, marketing, legal, finance) and external licensing agencies or partners.
- Market & Industry Research: You research current trends and developments in the global licensing and entertainment industries and prepare findings for the team.
What we are looking for:
- Studies: Currently enrolled student, ideally in Business Administration, Media Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in the Industry: Some exposure to or interest in the global toy and entertainment industry.
- Affinity for Numbers: Basic understanding of commercial concepts, comfortable working with Excel and reports.
- Prior Experience a Plus: Internships or working student experience in licensing, marketing, or business development are a plus but not required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Good communication and presentation skills in both German and English, confident when interacting with external partners.
- Personality: A proactive, structured, and eager-to-learn personality who enjoys working independently and thrives in an international, dynamic environment.
