+ Entwurf und Entwicklung der Kommunikationssystem-Architektur von Marineschiffen und Unterseebooten, einschließlich der Zerlegung des Gesamtsystems in seine Komponenten sowie die Dekomposition und Allokation der funktionalen und nicht-funktionalen Systemanforderungen
+ Koordination der weiteren Ausdetaillierung der Subkomponenten und deren Verknüpfungen
+ Erstellung und Pflege detaillierter Architektur- und Designdokumenten
+ Erarbeitung von Designalternativen für gegebene Problemstellungen und Herbeiführung einer abgestimmten Entscheidung
+ Abstimmung nachfolgender Entwicklungs- und Konstruktionsprozesse
+ Konzeptionierung des Architekturdesigns für technische Angebote und Abschätzung der erforderlichen Aufwände
