Our client, a leading global provider of cloud data platforms, is seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect (m/f/d) for a temporary assignment. Their in-house Professional Services team comprises top implementation and strategy experts. What skills are required for this solutions architect (m/f/d)?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Completed Bachelor's/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or comparable practical experience. 8 to 11 years of professional experience as a Solutions Consultant, Data Architect, Database Administrator, or Data Engineer. At least 8 years of experience in technical consulting. Experience in a leadership role on analytics projects for large enterprises. Hands-on experience implementing and operating Snowflake-centric solutions. In-depth understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow (from ETL and data platform design to BI and analytics tools). Familiarity with industry-standard BI and ETL solutions. Hands-on experience in a technical role using SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark to build, operate, and maintain data analytics solutions. Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, etc.). Proficiency in implementing data security measures, access controls, and specific design within the Snowflake platform. This brings additional advantages (nice-to-haves): Experience in the service organization of a product company. Experience in a leadership position implementing technical projects. Industry-specific expertise (e.g., media, financial services, healthcare, etc.). Experience in application development. Cloud certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure). Snowflake SnowPro Advanced certification(s).

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
