Complete Job Description
Join the Nordic Startup with a 25-Year Legacy
We are expanding the ITQ team across the Nordics, and we are operating with the agility and energy of a startup, but backed by the stability of a highly respected company that started 25 years ago in the Netherlands.
As a premier VMware Pinnacle Partner, ITQ maintains a laser focus on VMware technology. In a changing market, our exclusive specialization means we are the trusted, go-to partner for high-profile customers and the most complex engagements. If you are deeply passionate about technology and want to work with the absolute best in the industry, this is your safe harbor and your launchpad.
About the role
As an SDDC Consultant, you will dive straight into a massive, ready-to-go pipeline of technical projects. You will support our clients in transforming traditional datacenters into modern, flexible, and efficient software-defined environments. You jump in and save the day by simplifying complex datacenter infrastructures, reducing costs, and improving overall performance.
While you might be one of the first on the ground in your country, you will never be a "lone wolf." You will operate remotely with high autonomy, while being fully backed by our powerful virtual network of top-tier European experts.
Your responsibilities and technologies:
You have a solid background in technologies such as VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VCF Operations, VMware NSX, and Red Hat OpenShift.
You are hands-on with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions; practical experience here is essential.
You possess architectural skills related to SDDC and have a strong understanding of x86 virtualization, operating systems, and advanced networking/storage.
You are driven by a passion for technology. While current certifications are a plus, a proven track record is what matters most—along with a strong willingness to pursue further certifications once you join.
Who you are:
You have 5+ years of experience in IT consultancy, engineering, or architecture.
You are highly self-dependent, proactive, and excited about the "startup mentality" of building a local culture from the ground up.
You are fluent in English AND at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish).
You’re passionate about technology; maybe even a bit obsessed (we like that).
Working at ITQ offers some awesome perks
We don’t just see you as an employee, but as a whole person. You’ll get the freedom, trust, and support to develop in the way that suits you best.
Ultimate Flexibility: Flexible working hours and location, work from where you are best, as long as customer requirements are fulfilled.
Solid Foundation: A highly competitive salary package, including a robust pension plan.
Continuous Growth: An annual training & certification budget, including fully funded certifications to keep you at the top of your game.
The ITQ Culture: Built on Passion, Authenticity, Ownership, and Quality. Comprehensive onboarding at our HQ in the Netherlands, followed by an informal lunch or dinner with your internal "buddy."
#ITQlife: Collaboration with top experts, regular knowledge sessions, global networking opportunities, and our legendary annual team weekend.
