For our client, a company of the thyssenkrupp Group in Flintbek, we are looking for a tester (m/f/d) for application software on a temporary employment basis. Start (planned): ASAP Duration: 12 months (until May 31, 2027), with option to extend Location: Flintbek, 40% remote work possible after initial training Workload: Full-time / 40 hours per week Conceptualization, planning, and management of the entire test process for our control software for military communication systems (Windows & Linux)...

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Completed studies in computer science, communications engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable field. At least 5 years of professional experience in testing complex applications, ideally in the real-time or communication software environment. Sound knowledge of creating test concepts, test cases, and test documentation. Practical experience with test automation (GWT according to Gherkin with Python and Qt Squish) and its integration into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI). Proficient use of version control and issue tracking. Experience in setting up and operating test environments as well as in using debugging and profiling tools. Strong analytical skills, a high degree of attention to detail and error, and the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships. Good communication skills and intercultural competence.
