Several years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Server, ideally SharePoint Server Subscription Edition or the SharePoint version in use. Planning and setup of complex SharePoint farms. SharePoint farm architecture and server roles. Installation, configuration, and hardening of SharePoint. SharePoint Search, search topology, indexing, and crawler optimization. SharePoint Service Applications. IIS configuration and IIS hardening. Certificate management and TLS. Active Directory, Kerberos, SPNs, and service accounts. Permission and role models based on the principle of least privilege. Sound knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server in a SharePoint environment. SQL high availability and performance. SQL databases, transaction logs, and TempDB. SQL I/O, storage, and latency assessment. Backup and restore concepts for SharePoint and SQL. Network, firewall, DNS, and load balancer dependencies. Virtualization, especially VMware/ESXi. Storage/SAN/iSCSI basics. Performance and capacity planning. Monitoring of SharePoint, SQL, Search, IIS, and infrastructure. Patch and vulnerability management. Security/BSI. Essential experience includes: BSI IT Baseline Protection, protection requirements assessment, and especially environments with "high" protection requirements; risk analysis according to BSI Standard 200-3; derivation of additional security measures from identified risks; creation and/or review of security and hardening concepts; network segmentation and secure communication relationships; least privilege and administrative role concepts; secure administrative access/jump server concepts; logging, monitoring, and security-relevant recording; patch and vulnerability management; evaluation of vulnerabilities and security-critical updates; documentation of security measures and deviations; and support during security reviews, audits, and acceptance procedures.
