The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Essential criteria / Hard skills (expert knowledge / at least 2 years of experience): Oracle DBMS: Installation & administration from version 19 onwards. High Availability & DR: In-depth experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard. Hardware platforms: Administration, patching, and tuning of Oracle Exadata (including TDE) & ODA. Backup/Recovery: Very good knowledge of NetBackup. Management & Support: Experienced use of OEM Cloud Control and structured troubleshooting during operation. Desirable criteria / Additional skills: Knowledge of Linux client/server operating systems as well as Bash, SQL, and PL/SQL scripting. Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., CheckMK) and automated job control systems (e.g., Automic). Experience with TLS-encrypted communication. Language skills: Fluent German, both written and spoken. Mandatory requirement: Security clearance: Willingness to undergo or provide proof of an extended security clearance (SÜ 2 according to § 9 SÜG) is mandatory.
