Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant/Architect - Informatica

We are looking for an experienced Consultant/Architect to join our MDM practice and solve our clients' MDM projects and implementations.
EPAM is investing significantly in the Master Data Management consulting practice. The goal is to enable clients to achieve better business outcomes by governing and managing Master Data initiatives more efficiently and implementing modern and innovative technology solutions. This role requires presence in the office 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Engage deeply with senior executives to define and execute enterprise-wide MDM programs and business cases, often becoming the "trusted advisor"
• Lead MDM assessments to help clients gradually improve capabilities from the current state to the viable state of maturity by creating a strategy, roadmaps, and implementation plans
• Leverage your deep understanding of business and IT capabilities to build an MDM technology solution that helps to innovate and create value across the client organization
• Provide end-to-end services from strategy ideation and extend knowledge of MDM solutions
• Lead client conversations and architectural teams to define modern Data Management architecture and develop practices to manage data throughout its lifecycle
• Support business development efforts, including proposal development, statements of work, and client presentations
• Create consulting offerings and reusable templates
• Deliver client projects in one or more solution areas: Product Information Management, Supplier MDM, and Digital Asset Management
• Be involved in clients' project initiatives such as MDM application implementation strategy and planning, requirements gathering, and technical work with other data solutions team members
• Document and execute the implementation of MDM application strategy and technical configuration

• 10+ years of experience in the MDM field
• Strong experience as an MDM architect delivering moderate to complex solutions
• Implementation experience with at least two or more large-scale projects using Informatica MDM, resulting in a successfully operationalized MDM solution in a live production environment
• Expertise in configuring data models within Informatica MDM (Customer 360, Product 360, or Multi-Domain MDM)
• Proficiency in defining match and merge rules, trust/survivorship rules, and validation processes within Informatica MDM to master client data
• Experience in Informatica Data Director (IDD) or Axon to configure user-friendly dashboards and workflows for data stewards and other stakeholders
• Strong understanding of data modeling (logical and physical), data profiling, data transformation, and data quality management
• Hands-on experience with SQL, database technologies, and ETL processes
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and XML for system integrations
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), writing well-structured user stories, and participating in Agile ceremonies using tools like JIRA
