Search Strategy Operations Specialist - TikTok

Responsibilities

About the team
Aim to support TikTok's search business, serving global users' discovery needs. Centered on user intent understanding, the team conducts user-centric experience evaluations and assesses model and strategy capabilities to identify key gaps and opportunities in search performance. We define, optimize, and iterate search product features and strategies to deliver accurate, high-quality content and services, driving better user experience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Analyze user feedback data across multiple TikTok channels. Partner closely with Policy/Strategy and ML/Algorithm teams to deep-dive into user experience pain points, and produce actionable UX/experience insights reports to guide strategy iterations.
- Work with Algorithm teams on strategy performance analysis and online manual audits to ensure strategy effectiveness and to identify and correct deviations.
- Stay up to date with Large Language Model (LLM) technologies and drive practical adoption of LLMs in day-to-day work scenarios.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s):
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Strong logical thinking and data mindset.
- Ability to deeply understand user needs and define problems clearly from a user-centric perspective.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to drive projects forward through efficient cross-functional partnership.
- Strong execution, and a high sense of ownership and self-motivation.

Preferred Qualification(s):
- Prior experience in LLM evaluation or user-facing product roles.
- Prior experience in search is a strong plus
