About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Property Manager Support professional to work remotely with a Sydney-based property management team, supporting a live NSW residential portfolio.
This is a hands-on support role focused on leasing administration, tenant and landlord communication, maintenance coordination, and compliance, while all inspections and fieldwork are handled locally.
You will play a key role in keeping the portfolio organised, compliant, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant & Landlord Support
- Manage tenant and landlord enquiries via phone and email
- Process rental applications, lease preparation, and renewals
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with trades
- Monitor rental payments, arrears, and issue reminders
- Maintain accurate tenant and owner records
Leasing & Marketing Support
- Create and manage listings on realestate.com.au and Domain
- Coordinate advertising, photography, and listing updates
- Respond to rental enquiries and assist with inspection scheduling
Administrative & Financial Support
- Manage inboxes and calendars for the property management team
- Prepare leases, reports, and condition reports
- Track key dates including renewals, expiries, and inspections
- Support arrears tracking, invoicing, and reconciliations
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure documentation complies with NSW tenancy legislation
- Monitor compliance requirements including smoke alarms, insurance, and pool certificates
- Generate reports on arrears, leasing, and maintenance activity
Requirements
- 2-4+ years Australian residential property management experience(NSW essential)
- Strong understanding of NSW tenancy legislation and processes
- Experience with PropertyMe, Property Tree, or Console Cloud(preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
