Für ein interessantes Projekt unseres Kunden sind wir aktuell auf der Suche nach einem Senior Cassandra Architect / Cassandra Platform Expert.
Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören:
Apache Cassandra:
+ Aufbau, Konfiguration und Betrieb von Cassandra-Clustern (inkl. Multi-Datacenter)
+ Durchführung von Backups und Wiedereinspielung gemäß Best Practices
+ Tuning von Compaction-Strategien und Performance-Parametern
+ Repair-Prozesse und Instandhaltung einzelner Nodes
+ Neuaufbau von Nodes inklusive Removal, Neueinbindung, Repair & Best practices bei Problemen
+ Optimierung und Troubleshooting der Replikation über mehrere Datacenter
+ Skalierung bei veränderten Datenaufkommen
+ Unterstützung bei Architekturänderungen von lesenden und schreibenden Softwarekomponenten
+ Erstellung und Evaluierung von Testumgebungen
Open Search Kenntnisse (nice to have):
+ Cross Cluster Replication
+ Index State Management Policies (rollover, deletion of old indices)
+ Analyse und Behebung von Unexplained Log Messages
+Trouble Shooting
Rahmenbedingungen:
+ Tätigkeit: 80% Remote, 20% vor Ort
+ Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch von Vorteil
Anforderungen:
Must:
+ min. 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Apache Cassandra (Betrieb & Administration)
Nice:
+ gute Kenntnisse in OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
