Projekt-Nr. 106249 - Senior Automotive Testing Engineer (m/w/d)

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Automotive Testing Engineer for an exciting project at a client’s site. General Conditions: + Utilization 80 - 100% + 60 - 80% on site, 20 - 40% remote Tasks: + Creation and execution of software and system test cases covering data analysis, diagnostic communication protocols, software downloads, system integration, operating system tests, and tracing with Wireshark in the TCU V2X project for the telematics control unit (TCU), with the aim of verifying the functions in accordance with Automotive SPICE in order to be able to transfer the software and system components into the overall system + Analysis of requirements and development codes stored in ALM, Jira, and Confluence, taking Automotive SPICE into account + Derivation, creation, and execution of test cases based on the analysis, as well as documentation of test results in ALM, Jira, and Confluence + Transmission of test results to developers by storing documentation/test results in ALM, Jira, and Confluence + Performing retests if the test cases reveal errors and a need for adjustments + Creating weekly status reports + Creating detailed technical documentation Anforderungen: Must Have: + At least 3 years of experience as a test engineer in the automotive industry for software and system testing + Experience and knowledge in the field of Automotive SPICE + Experience and knowledge in telematics system architecture, especially tcu unit (telematic control unit) (less head unit) + Experience and knowledge in the areas of diagnostic communication protocols, software downloads, system integration, operating system testing, review + Experience with problem-solving management tools + Good knowledge of testing methods and development tools + Network knowledge (TCP/IP, packet capture, NAT, bridge, P2P, OTA) + Experience with data analysis, logs, tracing + Good knowledge and understanding of various telematics areas such as eCall, positioning, 2G/3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, NGeCall, V2X + Fluent in business and technical English Zusätzliche Informationen: Have we piqued your interest?
