About our team
The TikTok Money Platform is responsible for providing a one-stop solution for financial matters across various monetization scenarios of TikTok.

We support credit-bearing internship registration, subject to the intern's school requirements and company approval.

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth.
Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
This role supports Money Platform's delivery lifecycle end to end - from pre-sale requirement intake, through implementation, to post-sale support. You will help make delivery clearer, more standardized, and less manual, working closely with product managers, business lines, and engineering teams.
1. Gather requirements from business units and translate them into clear, executable solutions for the product team.
2. Support product launches/delivery end to end, from artifacts preparation through to user/developer enablement activities.
3. Validate API integration flows and guides through end-to-end integration & testing, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve the developer experience.
4. Use coding and AI tools to automate repetitive delivery/process workflows and reduce manual effort.
5. Work with customer support and QA to turn product feedback into self-service support flows (e.g. FAQs, chatbots).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks with 5 days onsite during 2027.
- Preliminary understanding of TikTok's business ecosystem, especially in payments.
- Proficient in backend programming (e.g., Python/Go) and AI tools - able to work with RPC/API specs (Thrift IDL), integrate server SDKs, and implement webhook/callback services for payment integration.
- Able to digest large amounts of information and transform it into clear, easy-to-understand documents/presentation for internal and external communication.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, comfortable handling diverse requirements and feedback from multiple business units and cross-functional partners.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Some experience in optimizing development and business collaboration processes, or in delivery/project coordination.
- Basic data analysis skills to extract valuable insights from user feedback and requirement/status data.
- Interest in fintech, payments, or platform/operations work.
