Salary: Negotiable | 37 hours per week | Fully Remote
ProcurePublic is a public-sector framework provider looking for a capable, organised and commercially mindedProcurement Officerto join our growing team.
The role will support the delivery ofpublic procurement exercises, framework agreements, mini-competitions and competitive selection processes, working with public-sector clients and suppliers across a broad range of works, services and consultancy requirements.
The Role
This is a varied procurement position where you'll be involved in the practical delivery of procurements from initial client requirement through to award.
You'll work closely with our clients to understand what they need, establish an appropriate procurement route and manage the process in a fair, transparent and efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managingmini-competitions and competitive selection processesunder existing frameworks and dynamic markets
- Supporting the procurement and establishment of newframework agreements and dynamic markets
- Working with clients to understand and develop their requirements
- Preparing procurement documentation, specifications and tender information
- Supporting the development of evaluation criteria and pricing schedules
- Issuing opportunities and managing supplier communications
- Responding to clarification questions during procurement exercises
- Coordinating tender evaluations and moderation
- Preparing award recommendations and supporting documentation
- Communicating professionally with successful and unsuccessful suppliers
- Maintaining clear and accurate procurement records
- Supporting clients throughout the procurement process
- Ensuring procurement activities are undertaken in accordance with applicable public procurement requirements
Public Procurement
ProcurePublic works with public-sector organisations, so you'll develop a strong understanding ofpublic procurement and the Procurement Act 2023.
Previous public procurement experience would be beneficial, but it isn't essential for the right person. Full support will be provided on our processes, systems, frameworks and procurement procedures.
We're particularly interested in someone who can combinegood judgement with a practical approach. Our aim is to make procurement compliant and robust without making it unnecessarily complicated.

Experience in procurement, purchasing, commercial management, contract management or the public sector would be advantageous.CIPS qualifications would also be welcomed but are not essential.
Remote Working
This is afully remote role, offering flexibility for the right person.
You'll need a suitable professional home-working environment, reliable internet connectivity and the ability to work effectively and independently.
Our team meetsapproximately once a month in the South East of England, and you will be expected to attend.
