Lead Data Engineer

We are actively seeking a dedicated and innovative Lead Data Engineer to join our team, taking charge of advancing and refining our data engineering practices.
This role focuses on deploying state-of-the-art data solutions, ensuring seamless data flow across our systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate data sources through API and file-based methods
• Enhance and refine data intake processes, including ETL/ELT, DWH modeling, and optimization
• Perform data mapping and model implementations in DWH
• Manage the orchestration of data flow processes
• Execute BQ report implementations
• Advance and support CDC strategies

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python scripting with 5+ years of experience
• Knowledge of Engineering Excellence (EngX) principles in daily tasks
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar DBMS and SQL
• Background in GCP, CloudComposer, and other data-related cloud technologies
• Expertise in implementing ETL/ELT processes
• Understanding of Data Platform components and layers, including Data Intake, Storage/DWH, BI
• Core engineering skills including versioning, CI/CD, quality assurance, and automated testing
• Good command of English

Nice to have

• Capability to adapt to various scripting languages
• Competency in additional DBMS platforms
• Qualifications in advanced data modeling techniques
