Job Description: The Compliance Officer ensures that the organization adheres to all applicable laws and regulations, particularly with respect to anti-money laundering (AML) and other financial crimes prevention standards. This role is critical in mitigating the risks associated with non-compliance and ensuring that the crypto exchange maintains a strong reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the company’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Monitor changes in regulatory and legal requirements affecting the business.
  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports and filings.
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and assessments.
  • Educate employees on compliance standards and best practices.
  • Report non-compliance issues to senior management and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance, particularly in financial institutions or crypto exchanges.
  • An undergraduate degree in law, finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and risk management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to various stakeholders.
