The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Solid, multi-year experience in the design and implementation of multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and modern CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD). In-depth programming skills in Python and extensive experience in REST/gRPC API design and modern data engineering. Experience with Semantic Web and expertise in enterprise search and vector databases: proficient use of OpenSearch, Vector Search, and Milvus. Specialized knowledge of graph technologies: practical experience with knowledge graphs, RDF, SPARQL, Neo4j/GraphDB, and GraphRAG. Demonstrable experience in implementing LLM architectures, Agentic AI, Lakehouse paradigms, and enterprise architecture frameworks. Desirable: domain understanding in the industrial/manufacturing environment (PLM, MES, ERP) and know-how in NVIDIA Omniverse/OpenUSD or digital twins. Project experience & qualifications: Verifiable references from at least two comparable large-scale projects in the field of data/AI platform architecture. Language skills: Fluent German (at least C1 level) and fluent English (at least C1 level). Certifications (desirable): e.g., CKA/CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Administrator/Developer), AWS/Azure Solutions Architect Professional, or TOGAF.

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
