For our framework agreement client in the energy sector, we are looking for an IT Security Consultant (m/f/d). This is a brownfield project with a current team size of four people. Interviews can be conducted from week 40 onwards. Start date: October 26th. Duration: 1 year with option to extend. Workload: Full-time. What skills are required for this it security consultant (m/f/d)?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Must-haves (Critical Requirements) SIEM/SOAR & Hardening: Practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or Wazuh, as well as system hardening (Windows, Linux, Entra ID). Automation: Proficient use of Python, Bash, YAML, and regular expressions for security workflows. Incident Response: Proven experience in incident management, log analysis, and disaster recovery planning. Nice-to-haves (Optional Bonus Points) Governance & Standards: Consulting expertise for ISO 27001 and BSI IT Baseline Protection. Certifications: e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or Microsoft Security Architect (SC-100).

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
