Our client is seeking an experienced IT Network and System Administrator (m/f/d) to join their team as soon as possible. What skills are required for this it network and system administrator (m/f/d)?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Completed vocational training or university degree in computer science, IT systems engineering, or a comparable qualification. Several years of experience in IT system and network administration. Sound, practical experience with Linux systems (RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu) and their administration in production environments. Proficient handling of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows server infrastructures. Demonstrable experience with VMware vSphere, TrueNAS, Synology NAS, and Veeam Backup & Replication. Experience in on-premises hosting of containerized solutions (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud solutions is desirable. Practical experience with OPNsense firewalls, VPN architectures, and WLAN management. Knowledge of Dell infrastructure (servers, switches, storage) is advantageous. Structured, analytical approach to work with a focus on precision, documentation, and process quality. High level of initiative, willingness to learn, solution-oriented thinking, and teamwork skills. Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
