The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Staffing & Role Profiles: The tasks are divided into two role profiles (Software Specialist 1 & 2). The positions can be filled either by two specialized freelancers or by one freelancer who covers both profiles. Role 1: IT Architect / Developer Focus: Technical support, architecture conception & interface design. Tasks: Contributing to the design of architecture components in the payment environment under technical leadership. Defining interfaces and APIs within the OSPlus system landscape. Creating business and IT concepts, architecture models, as well as risk and software security concepts. Evaluating system solutions with regard to effort and feasibility. Requirements: At least 3 years of professional experience in the IT environment in the banking/savings bank sector. Sound OSPlus knowledge (technology, architecture, interfaces). Experience with common development tools, test frameworks, and architecture methodologies. Role 2: Senior IT Architect / Lead Focus: Holistic system architecture, leading complex IT concepts & payment strategy. Tasks: Conceptualizing the system architecture for all relevant platforms (holistic/integrated approach). Leading the definition of interfaces and APIs in the payment architecture (Digital Euro). Management and consulting of group-wide systems in the critical banking environment. System analysis, design, data modeling, and management of complex software implementations. Requirements: Several years of demonstrable professional experience as a senior IT architect in the banking sector. Excellent OSPlus expertise (understanding of architecture, interfaces, and code). Sound knowledge of relevant methods, tools, and processes in heterogeneous banking system landscapes. MUST-HAVE criteria & soft skills: Contract status: Verifiable freelance/self-employed status. OSPlus knowledge (MUST-HAVE): You do not need to program yourself in the project, but a deep technical/code-related understanding of OSPlus and its interfaces is required. Industry expertise: Savings bank/banking environment & financial IT. Consulting skills: Confident presentation during the pitch phase and on-site workshops.

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
