The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Required qualifications: Practical experience in querying, modeling, and managing data models and relational databases (SQL, star schema) – minimum 5 years of experience. Practical experience in connecting, processing, and preparing (semi-)structured data using AWS technologies (AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, Amazon Athena, AWS Step Functions, Amazon S3) – minimum 5 years of experience. Practical experience in designing and developing scalable data architectures in a cloud context (AWS) – minimum 5 years of experience. Practical experience in structuring, developing, and optimizing dbt projects (data build tool, especially dbt Core) – minimum 1 year of experience. In-depth knowledge of computer science demonstrated by a completed degree in this field. Desired qualifications: Practical experience in building infrastructure components using AWS technologies (especially AWS CDK, AWS CloudFormation) – minimum 3 years of experience. Practical experience in the role of (data) architect or (data) architecture decision-maker – minimum 3 years of experience. Experience in clearly communicating complex data-related topics - 3 references. Previous project experience in the context of construction projects or railway infrastructure companies - minimum 1 year of experience.
