Job Role: Image Editor

Compensation range: $1,300 AUD - $1,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type:Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx 4am-12pm or 5am to 1pm AEST. Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: Our company is a Melbourne-based real estate media company, delivering property photography, floor plans, and drone imagery for real estate agents across the region. The team is looking for a detail-focused Image Editor to join them full-time and help finish and polish content before it reaches agents and their clients.

Role Overview: This role is all about finishing touches, not original design. Photos, floor plans, and drone shots are already captured on-site — the Image Editor reviews, touches up, and finalises them so every piece of marketing material looks its best before it goes out. Strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills are essential, and an eye for detail is what makes someone great in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Floorplan Revision / Drafting

• Review internal property photos to confirm rooms, built-in robes, heaters, air conditioning, sinks, stoves, walls etc are all captured and correctly positioned on the floor plan
• Compare the original drawing to the final edit, ensuring every label is added and accurate
• Check external elements steps, footpaths, alfresco areas, sheds against the drawing and photos and confirm they're included and labelled
• Confirm the block shape and north orientation are correct

2. Photo Editing (Touch-Ups)

• External touch-ups: green up grass, clean pathways, balance colour and light, remove reflections in glass and remove stray items like bins or hoses
• Internal touch-ups: remove electrical cords, reduce floor and window reflections and tidy up clutter
• Occasional virtual staging as required

3. Drone Markups

• Location drone markups: research the area online and add nearby schools, shops, cafes, parks and reserves and highlight the subject street
• Land box drone markups: add land size, perimeter measurements and street name, with background blurring and desaturation

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• A sharp eye for detail and consistency
• Comfortable working independently to daily turnaround deadlines
• Real estate industry experience is a bonus - training is provided for the right person

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
