For our client, a thyssenkrupp Group company in Beckum, we are seeking a Head of Accounting (m/f/d) on a temporary staffing basis. Start date (planned): July 1, 2026. Duration: 9 months (until March 31, 2027), with the option to extend. Location: Beckum, remote work possible after the initial training period. Workload: Full-time / 35 hours per week. What skills are required for this head of accounting (m/f/d) - temporary staffing?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Completed degree with a focus on finance/accounting, completed advanced training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or comparable qualification. Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, proven experience in a management role, ideally in an international/industrial environment. Sound knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and German GAAP (HGB) as well as tax-related accounting requirements; experience in preparing annual financial statements. Experience with SAP (FI/CO modules) is mandatory; very good MS Office skills, especially Excel. Fluent in German and English. Strong leadership personality with the ability to motivate and develop teams in a dynamic, international matrix organization. Analytical thinking, high accuracy, structured work style, and excellent communication skills. Experience in change management, the transfer of shared service center activities, and digitalization projects is a plus.
