Ocular Therapeutix has built a robust product pipeline of drug delivery solutions developed to reduce the complexity and burden of the current standard of care and position itself to become a leader in the ophthalmic space.

Outside of the ophthalmic realm and behind the doors of our headquarters in Bedford, MA, we strive to build a strong culture where employees can flourish and achieve their career goals. We encourage out of the box thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and creativity.

Position Summary:

  • Monitor and interpret policy, coverage, coding, payment, formulary, and utilization-management trends.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align evidence, messaging, field execution, and compliant engagement plans.
  • Translate payer insights into recommendations that support launch planning, account prioritization, and patient access.
  • Represent the voice of government payers in internal planning forums and executive updates.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical, medical device, market access, reimbursement, government accounts, payer strategy, or commercial experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Medicare Part B, MAC coverage processes, VA/DoD access, Medicaid policy, buy-and-bill reimbursement, coding, and coverage strategy.
  • Experience in ophthalmology, retina, specialty pharmacy, medical benefit, or provider-administered products preferred.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influence complex access decisions in a compliant manner.
  • Strong communication, strategic planning, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
