What this Journey Looks Like
At Pearster, we are hiring a Financial Controller to join our team in Argentina. This is a 100% remote position responsible for supporting the company's financial and operational performance through budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and the development of business metrics that enable informed strategic decision-making.
The role combines financial control, FP&A, business analysis, and operational insight. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams to monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen financial processes, and provide actionable insights that support the company's growth.
What You'll Lead and Build
Prepare, monitor, and manage company budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Prepare periodic financial, management, and performance reports.
Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analyze profitability by client, project, business unit, or other relevant dimensions.
Support monthly closing processes and financial reconciliations.
Monitor operational costs, expenses, and financial performance.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting.
Develop financial analyses to support business and strategic decisions.
Partner with Finance, Operations, and Leadership teams on planning and performance management.
Support the preparation of financial information for internal and external audits.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial and management information.
Contribute to the automation and improvement of financial reporting and analysis processes.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, Management Control, or a similar role.
Strong experience with budgeting, financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Experience developing dashboards and KPIs using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar platforms.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Intermediate or advanced English level is a plus.
