The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Solid practical experience in embedded software development, with a focus on Layer 2/3 and switching hardware control. Strong knowledge of C/C++ development, including parallel programming. Proficient use of Linux-based development platforms (Wind River Linux, Windows Subsystem for Linux). Good technical understanding of modern network protocols and network-specific functions. Experience using agile methodologies (Scrum) and common project and version control tools (Git, Microsoft Azure DevOps). Toolset: Proficient use of Git, SDKs, and ideally experience with Yocto/Bitbake. German and English at least at C1 level. Ideally, some familiarity with GSDML, STEP 7, and the TIA Portal (knowledge of customer-specific developments is not required).

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
