Our client is seeking external expertise for an EDI integration and operation project. Key details: Start: July 15, 2026; Duration: 3 months; Workload: Full-time; Remote work: 80%; Location: Bornheim; Project language: German; EDI Integration: Ensuring stable, trouble-free, and high-quality data transmission within the technical environment of supplier management. What skills are required for this edi integration/operations expert (m/f/d)?

The essential skills and qualifications for this position include:

Must-have Seeburger expertise: Several years of in-depth practical experience in the administration and configuration of the Seeburger BIS (Business Integration Suite) – ideally version 6. Mapping & Development: Proven success in the design, creation, and testing of EDI mappings (preferably with Seeburger BIC / Mapping Designer). EDI Standards: Sound knowledge of common standards in the retail and logistics sector, especially EDIFACT and EANCOM. Process and Message Understanding: Confident handling of the message types ORDERS, DESADV, and INVOIC within the context of supplier management. Partner Onboarding: Experience in the independent technical integration (connection) and test management of external partners and suppliers. Nice-to-have: Experience with Seeburger Web EDI (support of the web portal for smaller suppliers). Knowledge of common transmission protocols (e.g., AS2, OFTP2, SFTP). Industry experience in retail, e-commerce, or large-scale logistics.

Additional preferred qualifications may include problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience working in collaborative team environments.
