Job Overview
Support daily contract and compliance operations, with a focus on Business Development. You will review commercial documentation, translate requirements into practical guidance, and track obligations. This individual contributor role works under direct supervision within Compliance & Legal, with frequent guidance during onboarding and increasing autonomy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review B2B contracts for clients, vendors and partners, including NDAs, demo agreements, onboarding materials, insurance documentation and certificates of insurance (COIs).
- Identify contractual obligations and potential risks; prepare clear summaries, risk matrices, checklists and recommendations for review.
- Help Business Development, Sales and other internal teams understand contractual requirements and next steps in clear, practical language.
- Support the contract lifecycle, coordinating documentation and follow-up actions through review and signature, and tracking obligations after execution.
- Maintain accurate contract records and document versions, supporting record retention and audit preparation.
- Assist with vendor and partner due diligence and compliance reviews by gathering documentation and flagging items requiring further assessment.
- Track and prioritize requests in Jira or a similar tool, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, dependencies and timelines.
- Escalate complex, sensitive or higher-risk matters to Compliance & Legal and follow established review and approval processes.
- Help improve checklists and workflows. Use approved automation and AI tools responsibly, protecting confidential information and validating outputs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Practical experience in contract analysis, compliance or a similar role within a corporate B2B environment.
- Experience working with U.S. contracts or supporting U.S. clients in a contract or compliance capacity.
- Advanced English and fluent Spanish, with the ability to review documents and communicate clearly in both languages.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- The ability to manage concurrent requests, organize documentation and follow through on deadlines.
- A collaborative approach to supporting internal clients, balancing urgency with accuracy and responding promptly during agreed working hours.
Preferred qualifications
- A university degree in Law.
- Experience in healthcare, another regulated industry, or technology
- Experience in a medium or large company, or a consulting firm, handling a high volume of clients and requests.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools for managing requests and priorities.
