Role Summary
The Chief Digital Assets Officer (CDAO) is responsible for leading the organization's digital assets strategy, including tokenized assets, digital securities, cryptocurrencies, central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), custody solutions, and blockchain-enabled financial products. This executive role oversees the development, governance, commercialization, and regulatory compliance of digital asset initiatives while driving innovation and sustainable growth in the evolving digital economy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Assets Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's digital assets and tokenization strategy.
- Identify opportunities for digital asset adoption, monetization, and business growth.
- Advise the CEO, Board, and executive leadership on digital asset trends, risks, and market developments.
- Establish long-term digital asset roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy.
2. Digital Asset Product Development
- Lead the creation and commercialization of digital asset products and services.
- Oversee tokenized investment products, digital securities, stablecoin initiatives, and custody offerings.
- Drive innovation in digital asset trading, settlement, and asset management solutions.
- Ensure scalability, security, and regulatory compliance of digital asset platforms.
3. Tokenization & Digital Securities
- Develop tokenization strategies for financial instruments, real-world assets, and alternative investments.
- Lead digital securities issuance and lifecycle management initiatives.

4. Digital Asset Operations & Custody

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology, Computer Science, Law, or related field.

- 15+ years of experience in financial services, capital markets, asset management, fintech, digital assets, or blockchain-related sectors.
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior executive leadership role.
- Proven experience with digital assets, tokenization, digital securities, custody, or blockchain-enabled financial products.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, financial regulations, custody operations, and digital asset ecosystems.
