About the Role
OutsourcedIn is partnering with an Australian real estate agency to hire an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business opportunities across residential (and some commercial) sales, leasing, and property management.
This is a fully remote, home-based role focused on identifying new clients, building relationships with property owners and businesses, and supporting agents with a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Australian real estate market
Generate and qualify leads for residential and commercial sales, leasing, and property management
Engage property owners, landlords, investors, and businesses via calls, emails, and outreach campaigns
Conduct initial discovery conversations and qualify prospects for handover to agents
Appointment Setting & Handover
Book appointments for agents including appraisals, inspections, and sales or leasing discussions
Work closely with sales, leasing, and property management teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities
CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM
Track opportunities, follow-ups, and conversion stages
Manage a healthy and consistent business development pipeline
Marketing & Growth Support
Support marketing and outreach campaigns targeting property owners, tenants, and investors
Assist with initiatives to grow the agencys client base and market presence
About You
2–3+ years experience in Australian real estate business development, sales, or lead-to-close roles
Strong understanding of residential and commercial property sales, leasing, and property management processes
Confident communicator with strong persuasion and relationship-building skills
Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple prospects and follow-ups
Experience using CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or property-specific systems (preferred, not mandatory)
Preferred Background
Experience working with Australian real estate agencies
Familiarity with local property markets, tenant/landlord relationships, and agent workflows
