- Our client is a global financial infrastructure platform for institutions. They provide digital assets infrastructure for financial services institutions, from large banks to Fintechs.
Role and Responsibilities
- Looking for a full-stack developer who is hands-on, with blockchain experience to architect and build the next generation of blockchain-based and digital assets applications for the financial services industry.
- To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate about building 0-to-1 products and should have the skills & the ability to execute quickly.
- Contribute to the development of blockchain-based technologies - smart contracts & dApps on EVM Blockchain networks by designing, implementing, and refining smart contracts (primarily on Solidity).
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Ethereum & other protocols work (smart contract codebase) etc.
- Contribute towards writing and maintaining documentation & instruction manuals
- Research, apply, and invent new smart contract paradigms.
- Create a unified component library for use across front-end applications.
- Ensure product stability through testing and development of best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and other engineers to design & create high-quality applications.
- Write open-source TypeScript / JavaScript & Python clients that allow users to interact directly with our on-chain smart contracts.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, and strong command of computer science fundamentals and software development.
- 2+ years of experience building and releasing production-grade Solidity contracts.
- A deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and gas optimization; prior experience deploying complex smart contract systems to the Ethereum main net
- Experience in writing code in Agile, CI/CD environments.
- Prior experience of working on DeFi projects or protocols is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python / Java / C++ / Rust is a plus.
- Experience in building high-performance REST & WebSocket APIs is a plus.
- Prior experience working with component libraries or design teams in user-facing applications is a plus.
