Azure Platform Engineering Consultant (m/f/d)

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, identity management, security, monitoring, and platform services. Proven experience in deploying cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Terraform and Terragrunt, and a deep understanding of modular, reusable, and policy-driven deployment patterns. Experience in creating reusable Azure platform templates, golden paths, or engineering patterns for repeatable and standardized platform adoption. A good understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, source control, automated testing, release management, security controls, and environment governance. Experience operating native Azure cloud services, applying best practices in observability, alerting, logging, performance monitoring, service reliability, and incident response. Practical knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps principles, including cost visibility, tagging, right-sizing, and efficient consumption patterns. Ability to work effectively as an external project engineer/consultant in a complex business environment, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and produce high-quality documentation. Fluency in German and English at least at C1 level (project language is English!).
