Automation Tester in Ruby

We are seeking an Automation Tester with a focus on Ruby. You will be a vital part of our EPAM team, contributing to various domain areas, including a self-service portal web application and a SCIM connector for user role synchronization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automation and manual testing with a ratio of 70% automation to 30% manual
• Develop test automation for both legacy and new functionalities
• Perform regression testing to ensure software quality
• Execute user interface and application programming interface tests
• Coordinate efforts on automation testing frameworks
• Identify, submit, and report bugs in the task management service
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance testing strategies

Requirements

• Experience in testing and test automation with a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to take ownership of the automation area within the project
• Proficiency in Ruby technology stack, including Capybara for user interface automation
• Solid knowledge of Rspec and RestClient or similar for API testing
• Understanding of Git for version control
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
• B2 level of written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Report Portal
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for test runs
