WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
- Data Scientist: $99,000-$133,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Senior Data Scientist: $112,000-$151,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Principal Data Scientist: $125,000-$169,500, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and maintain predictive models and apply statistical and machine learning techniques to support pricing, reserving, underwriting, risk management, and forecasting.
Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
Consult with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, define analytical approaches, and recommend data-driven solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with actuarial, finance, underwriting, and product teams on strategic initiatives, while supporting experience studies, profitability assessments, scenario analyses, and regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Design and automate reporting and analytical processes.
Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and modeling approaches.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in actuarial analytics, data science, insurance analytics, or related field
Strong proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and SQL, technical experience.
Experience with predictive modeling and statistical analysis
Knowledge of insurance products, actuarial principles, and risk modeling
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico
PREFERRED:
- Experience with version control and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Git/GitHub) using modern development environments such as Visual Studio Code.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Experience with machine learning frameworks and cloud platforms
Strong proficiency in Python, Snowflake, and SQL, technical experience
Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools
